DRESS UP JUBILEE
No we didn't get wet on 3rd June, Jubilee Pageant Day. Courtesy of Bob and Cathy Ray who have a wonderful flat overlooking the Thames just east of Tower Bridge, we didn't get wet. But we did get excellently fed (and we drank a lot as well).
The theme of the party was dress-up-as-a-royal but it wasn't clear whether said Royal was to be current or indeed even British. So my costume - the kilt and accoutrements - could have been Prince Charles or could have been, 'The Monarch of the Glen'. The photographs below, tell some of the story.
